Jump Arts Inc. is a not-for-profit organization serving the New York City performing arts community. Jump is dedicated to providing opportunities for forward-reaching artists to create and be seen. Over the past six years we have produced over 100 performance events and educational workshops showcasing over 250 artists. Some past highlights: The Jump Festival Series 1-16 Our bi-annual performance series presenting 12-16 groups per festival; Musicians, dancers, poets and visual artists The American Road Project The Jump Festival on the road. Jump on the Pony & Jump to the Four Corners Weekly Avant-Jazz music series Movement Exploration Improvisational dance and music workshop The Jump Women's Series & The Jump Women's Festival Presenting a multi-disciplinary cast of female talent The Creative Sound Workshop Free children's interactive music workshop The creation of situations and spaces where artists have a nurturing place to create and experiment has been our passion. The search for forums and performance spaces for artists to bring their work to forth is an ongoing struggle. We now are looking forward to a new focus of supporting artists through our sponsorship program in an attempt to help artists one by one reach there career goals.
